Import lead times of eight to twelve weeks are not a scheduling inconvenience in this channel — they are a structural risk.

La Moda Clothing holds inventory in the Miami area, at the busiest cruise port in the world. Goods ship in 1–3 business days. If a style sells through on the first sailing, you can have it back on the floor for the next one.
