Wholesale Resort Wear for Cruise & Port Retail

Cruise retail runs on a clock nobody else works to. Your buy has to be on the ship before it sails, your floor resets between itineraries, and a stockout in the middle of the Caribbean cannot be fixed until the next port call. Import lead times of eight to twelve weeks are not a scheduling inconvenience in this channel — they are a structural risk.

La Moda Clothing holds inventory in the Miami area, at the busiest cruise port in the world. Goods ship in 1–3 business days. If a style sells through on the first sailing, you can have it back on the floor for the next one.

Why cruise buyers work with us

  • We are already at the port. Miami-area warehouse, domestic stock, no container wait.
  • A one-prepack minimum — 4 or 6 units depending on the style — lets you test a print on one itinerary before you commit it to the fleet.
  • One-size and S–XL cover-ups and kaftans solve the hardest problem in onboard apparel: an unpredictable, international size profile in very limited square footage.
  • Print-led assortments. Guests buy the print. We group styles by shared print across different cuts, so you can merchandise a coordinated story without buying six separate programs.

What works onboard and in port

Cover-ups, kaftans and kimonos are the backbone of cruise apparel: they pack flat, hang in minimal linear feet, fit a broad range of bodies, and read as a resort souvenir rather than as ordinary clothing. Beach and vacation dresses follow, driven by formal-night and port-day demand. One-piece swimsuits and two-piece sets round out the floor for the guest who arrived without one.

Frequently asked questions

What is your minimum order for cruise retail?

One prepack per style. Prepacks are 4 or 6 units depending on the style, and the exact pack size is shown on every product page. That lets you test a print on a single itinerary before committing it across the fleet.

How quickly can you resupply between sailings?

Stock ships from the Miami area in 1–3 business days, so a style that sells through on one sailing can be back on the floor for the next.

Do you work with onboard concessionaires as well as port retailers?

Yes. We supply cruise line procurement teams, onboard concession operators and independent retailers in port.
